Really no surprise here. U.S. forces have been arresting Iranian operatives in Iraq, especially in Basra, for a year or more now. It has also been well documented that Al-Sadr's militia, the Mahdi Army, was trained in Lebanon by Hezbollah.
When are our elected leaders going to face the music and admint publically that we are fighting with Iran in the south of Iraq, and apply public pressure for them to back off?
