The Blue Falcon of the Week for this week, November 15th, 2008 is:
Lt. Col. James Hessen of the United States Marine Corps! Congratulations, sir!
You see..Jesse Nieto served in the Marines for 25 years, including 2 tours in Vietnam. Jesse's son served aboard the USS Cole and was killed with 16 of his shipmates on Oct. 12th, 2000.
Since 2001, Jesse Nieto has been displaying stickers on his POV that reflect his feelings about Islam and Islamic terrorism.
Judge Hessen ordered that those stickers be removed from Mr. Nieto's vehicle. Mr. Nieto refused and a base magistrate for Camp Lejeune ordered that if he was not going to remove the stickers, he would be restricted from driving on ANY federal installation. This includes Arlington National Cemetary where Jesse Nieto's son, Marc, is buried.
Thus Judge Lt. Col. James Hessen blue falconed a brother Marine out of visiting his son, who died for this country! Semper Fi, sir! You blue falcon!
